Back To School

What am I still doing right now. I am suppose to go to bed right now and get ready for school tomorrow. I will, after I finish this last blog for my freshman inquiry class and try to earn some more extra points. Humm... what's there to write about? Oh yeah, I was so happy to see the snow coming down tonight with the hope that there will be no school tomorrow so I can have another day off, maybe more if there are more snow ;) But I know that this is too good to be true anyway, so forget about it and go to sleep. All right, good night.

New Year Surprise

On this new year, I received a bill that had changed my mood completely. It was a phone bill that was not normal like every other previous one. This time, I got charged for talking over minutes. Guess how much it is? Wrong... It was around $300. Yes, that is crazy isn't? But it's okay, at least I learned my lesson which was for not checking the available minutes and also for talking too much on the phone. That is what I get. I thought that I'm suppose to gain some money in new year but I lost it instead. Great... Happy New Year...

New Year's Eve

On new year eve day, I was planning to go to downtown with my friends for count down but unluckily, it was raining at that day. So our plan was canceled and we all decided to go watch movie instead. Well, I guess we didn't do anything special at all. It's just like a regular day, except we just say happy new year to each other... That's all.

Snow...

Excitement became a Disappointment!!!! On Saturday before dinner, I over heard on the news that they going to snow this Christmas and I was so excited. It was Sunday (three days before Christmas), we getting snows and a little windy outside but I don’t mind since its snow. But the weather is getting worse, the temperature is below 20 degrees and the snows keep pouring really hard on everything. I look outside the window when I wake up on the next day, everything was white and there’s no more wind. I go get my winter gears on then call all my brothers to go outside and play. We having fun throwing snow balls at each other for around three hours then its getting cold since the killer wind is back. We went inside the house to take a break from it but then its getting colder and colder and more snows coming down.

Finally The Last Day...

In the next morning, everyone woke up early to clean up the cabin, pack up their stuff, and ready to go home. This was the worst part of the trip...When everything was done, we all decided to go out and clear all the snow path for our cars. The snow was everywhere on our cars. In fact, its looked like the snows have buried all of our cars. We spent an amount of time trying to clear all the snow. After that, we played with the snow for a while before heading home. It was so much fun to play outside because there were so much snow. We threw snow and wrestled each other on the ground that were full of snow. It was cold but fun at the same time. At the end, we took a picture together and then headed home. During the way home, we all stopped by a burger restaurants and had our lunch there. Everyone sat around a giant table and enjoying their delicious burgers.

Day 2 Continue...

When we got to our cabin entrance, we have to pass this hill again in order to get to our cabin. This is where things got more frustrated. As we have expected, the car won’t be able to pass through this point. As a result, it was stuck in the middle of the hill due to the dept of snows. The car was unable to move anywhere. No matter what we tried to do, the car won't move an inch. The wheels kept spinning by itself all the time, which cause the burnt rubber smell. After two hour later, we were torn out and try to think of another idea. One of our ideas was to use another car to push this car out of the snow trap but I don’t think it’s a good one because it would probably damage my car. But I guess we have no choice, we was about to do it but surprisingly, there was a man came and he help us move the car out of there. He connected the chain between the two cars and then pulled it out using his car. Thankfully, that was another big help right there. As a matter of fact, I was thinking that we were having both bad luck and good luck at the same time.

Day 2...

When the next morning arrived, we headed to the Mt. Hood Meadow. During the way, there was a very loud and noisy noise that kept coming from one of the chained tire. Because the sound was too irritating, we went down and checked the tire, but it seemed like there was nothing wrong with it. It’s just the noisy sound that distracted us all. We ignored the noise and kept moving on. When we got there, we were shocked to see the two tires. They were completely flat for some reason. At that time, we were hopeless and were trying to figure out how to deal with this problem. Luckily, there was an auto body shop near there. We called them and they came and fixed our tires for us. I felt much relief and now I can finally go snowboarding with my friends, which was amazingly fun. I really enjoy the time spending there. After couple of hours later, we went back to our car and headed back to the cabin. During the way, the noisy sound from the chained tire started to happen again. We went down the car to check and we were unable to figure out where the noise came from. So we went back to our car and continued on driving. The noise, however, started to get louder and louder. Its sound like the chain was whipping on the car constantly. We went down the car to check. This time, we noticed that the chain was broken. In fact, this broken chain caused that noisy sound. However, the broken chain seemed to still working fine. So we just left it there and kept on driving. After a few minutes later, we went down again to check on the car and we noticed that the plastic thing locate next to the tired was almost ripped in half. This was done because the chain that was whipping on it. We then decided to take out that chain and drive back to the cabin with only one chain left. Finally, there are no more irritating sound and distraction. However, it was not that easy to drive with one chain left on.
